On August 13, it was learned from the preparatory meeting on 2018 China Changzhou Int’l Forum on Science and Technology & Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation that the Forum will be held in September. Vice Mayor Liang Yibo attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of China’s reform and opening up. As the first economic and trade cooperation platform in Changzhou, the Forum has become an important platform for displaying Changzhou's image and promoting international cooperation. Its theme this year is“With 40 years of joint efforts to open up, let us further cooperate on our journey forward.”The Forum will focus on accelerating the accumulation of capital, technology, talent and other factors, promoting project investment, enterprise transformation and industrial upgrading, and improving Changzhou's international reputation and influence.

The preparatory meeting called for all the districts and relevant departments to highlight key points and make full efforts to improve the effectiveness of the activities and improve the level of the Forum. The participants are requested to coordinate with each other, pay attention to details, and do a good job in preparations for the Forum, in order to ensure the Forum a successful and fruitful event.
