On November 26th, the Yangtze River Delta Graphene Industry Development Promotion Conference was held in Changzhou West Tiahu Lake Science and Technology Industrial Park. The conference was jointly launched by Jiangnan Graphene Research Institute, Shanghai Graphene Industrialization Technology Functional Platform and Ningbo Graphene Innovation Center. At the conference, the three agencies of Changzhou, Shanghai and Ningbo jointly signed the Cooperation Memorandum on Collaborative Development of Graphene Industry in the Yangtze River Delta, in order to jointly promote the development of graphene industry in the Yangtze River Delta.

According to the Memorandum, the three parties will jointly build the product information sharing platform, large-scale instruments and equipment sharing service platform, international cooperation and exchange platform, application innovation platform, public technical service platform, joint innovation Center and industrial development alliance for the graphene industry. This cooperation is expected to make Yangtze River Delta a world leading graphene high-tech industrialization base and innovation center with 5 to 10 years of efforts.

At present, Changzhou West Taihu Lake Science and Technology Industrial Park has established a set of innovative business ecosystem of "Innovation Institute - Mass Innovation - Incubator - Accelerator - Science Park", and has gathered 70 graphene enterprises and applied for 638 patents. Currently, Changzhou is the only graphene new materials high-tech industrialization base in China.
