Aside from agriculture and cultural tourism, Liyang is also a major player in the EV battery and high-end stainless steel industries, boasting two 100-billion-yuan worth industrial clusters. At the Two Festivals' opening ceremony, renowned electric vehicle makers such as Maxus, Tesla, and NIO showcased their latest EV models equipped with batteries made in Liyang, underscoring the region's significant contribution to China's electric vehicle market.
