On the morning of November 28, Dorcen Auto and Shanghai Jiaotong University officially signed the contract to set up a joint R&D center for automotive technology. Tao Wei, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Jintan District Committee and Executive Deputy Chief of Jintan, Xu Min, Dean of the Automotive Engineering Research Institute of Shanghai Jiaotong University, attended the signing ceremony.

Dorcen Auto is a key leading enterprise in Changzhou, as well as the backbone of the core industry chain of automobiles & parts and green power in Jintan. The Automotive Engineering Research Institute of Shanghai Jiaotong University was established in 2006, which has set up the National Engineering Laboratory for Automotive Electronic Control Technology, with the authority to grant master's and doctoral degrees.

The joint R&D center for automotive technology will become an important part of Dorcen Auto’s R&D System and the carrier of all future strategic cooperation between the two parties. Both sides will cooperate in technology, investment promotion, education and training, and research projects through the center. It will give full play to the professional research team of Shanghai Jiaotong University to provide services such as technical consultation, technology development, technological innovation, product upgrading, laboratory construction and lab capacity training for Dorcen Auto.

This signing ceremony marks a solid step in the strategic cooperation between Shanghai Jiaotong University and Dorcen Auto. It is also an important embodiment of Jintan's promotion of technological innovation in enterprises.
