The Tianning Cultural Creativity Park officially opened up on August 9th. Ms. Xuying, head of the Changzhou Municipal Publicity Department, and officials from the Tianning District Government jointly unveiled the park.

With rich cultural resources, the Tianning District now boasts over 1,800 cultural enterprises. Building upon these resources, the Tianning Cultural Creativity Park is expected to boost the cultural creativity industry in the Tianning District and accelerate city-industry integration.

The park, which is in its first phase, covers an area of 47 mu (3.13 hectares) with a total floor space of 22,000 m2. The key focus is on fields like software and information services, e-commerce, mobile internet, animation, games, service outsourcing, design, video production and distribution, advertising, cultural arts, etc.. The district government hopes to build the park into a top notch cultural creativity park in Changzhou and in the Yangtze River Delta region.

The first phase of the park seeks to make use of industrial relics for the development of low-energy and non-polluting cultural creativity industry. The park will strive to integrate resources from media, design, fashion and arts and build itself into a comprehensive cultural landmark project that combines sight, hearing and touch, and highlights humanistic care and city texture.

12 cultural enterprises have so far decided to move into the park.
