On the afternoon of April 6th, Vice Mayor Fang Guoqiang met with the delegation headed by Marten Kokk, the Estonian Ambassador to China, at the Municipal Administrative Center.

Estonia is a country in the Baltic region of Northern Europe. It is bordered to the north by the Gulf of Finland, to the west by the Baltic Sea, to the south by Latvia, and to the east by Lake Peipus and Russia. The territory of Estonia consists of a mainland and 2,222 islands and islets in the Baltic Sea, covering 45,339 km2 of land and water, and is influenced by a humid continental climate.

Estonia is a fast-growing economy with well-developed information technology. Because of its rapid growth, Estonia has often been described as a Baltic Tiger beside Lithuania and Latvia. In recent years, Changzhou and Estonia have been carrying out economic and trade activities in the areas of electromechanics, textile and garment, chemical, high-tech products, etc. In 2016, the trade volume between Changzhou and Estonia exceeded 37.62 million yuan.

Kokk and his delegation visited the Taiwan-funded enterprise Yongqi (changzhou) Vehicle Co., Ltd. to facilitate its cooperation with Estonia's Stigo Bike.
