In the meeting with directors of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology and Shanghai Data Exchange Center, Ding stated that big data is an important tool for urban governance, while Shanghai has made meaningful explorations and attempts in data collection and application. Changzhou is making every effort to promote the construction of a "smart city," using the Internet and big data to improve urban governance and enhance people's happiness.
