On September 10, it was learned that the China Enterprise Confederation and the China Enterprise Directors Association released the list of the 2018 China’s Top 500 Enterprises. Two companies of Changzhou, namely Zenith Steel and Yabang Investment Holding, are ranked the 136th and 320th respectively. At the same time, in the list of 2018 China's top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises, Zenith Steel, Yabang Investment Holding, Trina Solar, and Jiangsu Shangshang Cable are ranked the 51st, 148th, 274th and 402nd respectively.

In this year’s list, the total revenue of the top 500 enterprises reached 71.17 trillion yuan, an increase of 11.2% compared with the previous year. This growth rate has increased by 3.56 percentage points. State Grid, Sinopec and PetroChina ranked the top three with revenues of 2.3581 trillion, 2.2097 trillion and 2.2034 trillion respectively. At the same time as the growth rate of revenue increased, the growth rate of total assets declined. The total assets of the top 500 enterprises were 274.26 trillion yuan, an increase of 7.08% compared with the previous year. The growth rate was 7.64 percentage points lower. The total net assets of the top 500 enterprises reached 33.56 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.24%.

The list of China’s Top 500 Enterprises is jointly released by the China Enterprise Confederation and the China Enterprise Directors Association, which has been published for 17 consecutive years.
