On January 6, mayor Ding Chun met with the Taiwan semiconductor chip entrepreneur delegation in Wujin District. The two sides agreed to further promote cooperation and development.

Li Guoren, executive director of Xinsheng Electronics Co., Ltd., brought advanced semiconductor chip technology to Changzhou. The project team has many patents such as chip materials and lithography technology, breaking the monopoly of Japanese companies. Since the project was launched in Changzhou, the first production line has already started mass production. By the end of 2020, the capacity will reach 360 million pieces/month, accounting for 36% of the global market, and the annual turnover is expected to exceed 30 billion yuan. The Xinsheng Micro-structure Project has been selected as a major industrial project in Jiangsu, and was rated as a key project of the national “13th Five-Year Plan” strategic integrated circuit industry by the National Integrated Circuit Industry Investment Fund. Its investment and construction is of great significance to the development of the semiconductor and integrated circuit industry of our city and even the whole country.

Han Jiuyun, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Committee of CPC and director of the Municipal United Front Work Department, was present at the meeting.
