According to the coordinated arrangements of the central leadership, Jiangsu-bound travelers who enter China via the airport in Shanghai will be transferred for quarantine and health observation starting from 0:00 on September 12.

Upon arrival, Jiangsu-bound travelers entering China via Shanghai Pudong International Airport will be transported to designated hotels in Shanghai for quarantine and health observation for 3 full days after having their information collected and taking nucleic acid tests. On the 4th day, those tested negative will be transferred from Shanghai to the Kunshan Transfer Base by dedicated staff and vehicles of Jiangsu province in a seamless and hermetic manner. Governments of the cities under the Provincial Government will then pick up travelers bound for the respective cities at the Transfer Base. The passengers will go through another 11-day observation period at designated sites of their destinations, after which they will be released from quarantine upon completing the 14 full days of health observation (3 days in Shanghai and 11 days in Jiangsu).
