On August 18th, the Nuctech Science & Technology Park with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan had its groundbreaking ceremony in Jintan Economic Development Zone.
Nuctech Co., Ltd., originating from Tsinghua University, is a security inspection product manufacturer and security solutions supplier specialized in radiation imaging technology and featured by providing high tech security inspection products of independent property rights. Nuctech owns all of the intellectual property rights (IPR) to its core technologies. Its products have been sold to more than 130 countries and regions in five continents, covering the fields of civil aviation, Customs, urban subways, railways, highways, ports and key buildings and facilities, gaining widespread recognition and occupying an important position in the global market.
The Nuctech project in Jintan covers an area of 445 mu (about 29.67 hectares), with a total construction area of 320,000 square meters, focusing on building the ‘one base & three centers’ containing the production base, product R&D center, product exhibition center and international training center. By the end of next year after the project is completed and put into production, it will become the world's largest manufacturing base of container detection device.
