On June 27th, it was informed that the 2016 "Tongtian Cup" Third Changzhou Cultural & Creative Design Contest has concluded call for entries, collecting a total of 2,560 entries across the country, which is a new record in the history of the Contest.

The Contest is co-sponsored by the Publicity Department of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, Changzhou Daily, and Changzhou Radio & TV Station, with "Change life with creativity, and win the future with designs" as its theme.

Since March 16th, the Contest has attained widespread concern inside and outside the province, attracting participants from Shanghai, Guangdong, Liaoning, Jiangxi, Hebei and other places. Among the 2,560 signed-up works, there are 149 city image promotion designs, 177 industrial designs, 125 soft-mounted designs, 1,846 visual arts and creative show designs, 115 Dinosaur Park souvenir designs, 65 Internet micro-applications and 83 agritourism designs.

Between July 1st and 10th, the organizing committee will organize expert panel to determine the shortlisted designs and will publish the results on the website of Changzhou Cultural Industry (www.czwhcy.gov.cn). Before September 10th, models of the selected works will participate in the 2016 Fourth Cultural & Creative Projects (Changzhou) Matchmaking Forum. In the end of September, the accreditation committee of experts will carry out the final assessment.
