On Dec 18, the Economic and Information Commission and the Department of Finance of Jiangsu Province jointly released the list of the second batch of provincial demonstration intelligent workshops.

Among the 67 awarded workshops throughout the province, there are six workshops from Changzhou. They are: the Intelligent Production Workshop for LED Precise Packaging of Jiangsu AMICC Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., the Intelligent New Energy Vehicle Assembly Workshop of Beijing Electric Vehicle (Changzhou) Co., Ltd., the Intelligent Production Workshop for Polyose and Protease Injections of Changzhou Qianhong Bio-pharm Co., Ltd., the Intelligent One-button Steelmaking Workshop of Zenith Steel Group Co., Ltd., the Intelligent Production Workshop for Type I New Antitumor Drugs of Sta Pharm (Changzhou) Co., Ltd., and the Intelligent Production Workshop for Column Electric Power Steering of Thyssenkrupp Steering (Changzhou) Co., Ltd.

Since 2015, in order to enhance technical transformation, improve the capacity of intelligent production and upgrade manufacturing industry to mid-to-high end, the Economic and Information Commission and the Department of Finance of Jiangsu Province have co-established the rating system for highly intelligent workshops across the province. So far, the assessment has been carried out six times, and 49 enterprises in Changzhou have been accredited, ranking third in the province.
