On December 19, the Family Gardening Branch of the China Flower Association (CFA) was established in Wujin District. Deputy Mayor Di Zhiqiang attended the founding ceremony.

Wujin is renowned as the "Capital of Floriculture" in China, with a long history of flower and plant cultivation. It has developed a complete industry, composed of plantation bases, horticultural companies and nursery agents. In 2013, the 8th China Flower Expo was held in Wujin. Currently, the planting area of various flowers and plants in the district is about 80 square kilometers, with an annual production of over 200 million potted plants. The area has over 100,000 people engaged in the plant cultivation industry, with more than 300 horticultural enterprises. The trade volume for the first three quarters of this year exceeded 15 billion yuan.

The China Flower Association was established in 1984. With the establishment of the Family Gardening Branch, Wujin's horticultural enterprises will closely follow market trends, take initiatives to go green, and rely on innovation to expand the industry chain. The district will fully support the development of the branch, providing strong support for the growth of family gardening enterprises.
