On May 28th, the China-Russia Science and Technology Forum was held in Wujin District. The China-Russia Science and Technology Industrial Park was inaugurated in Niutang Town at the same time. The Assistant to the Minister of Science and Education of Russia, and Li Xiaoping, Vice Mayor of Changzhou, attended the event.

Russia has a strong capacity in scientific research and technical reserves in the areas of industrial equipment, polymer chemistry, and so on. The same day, Wujin District signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Ministry of Science and Education of Russia, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Projects of Headway, Zhongrui Electronics and Jiangsu Yunniao Network were signed to be settled in the China-Russia Science and Technology Industrial Park.

The China-Russia Science and Technology Industrial Park is the first Sino-Russian cooperation base in Jiangsu Province. It covers an area of 35,000 square meters, containing standard workshops, business service center, makers’ space, technology transfer services, etc. The Park will focus on introducing talents from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine to carry out technology transfer and transformation, as well as launching projects overseas.
