From September 11 to 13, a 12-member women’s delegation from Namyangju, South Korea visited Changzhou. On the afternoon of September 11, Du Jibin, director of the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, met with the delegation at the Administration Center. Zhou Guangju, chairwoman of the Municipal Women's Federation, and Sima Shuanglong, deputy director of the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, attended the meeting. The two sides also signed a supplementary agreement on women's exchanges between Namyangju and Changzhou.

During the visit, the delegation visited the Changzhou Women and Children’s Center and had a meeting there. Zhou Guangju introduced the practice of Changzhou on women’s rights protection, entrepreneurship and development. Members of the delegation said that Changzhou attaches great importance to women and children, and the work involves a wide range of aspects and is fruitful. They also stated to strengthen the communications between the women's social organizations on both sides, in order to learn from each other's practices and experiences.
