Recently, it was informed that Jintan (Shangruan) Modern Agricultural Industrial Park has been identified as a provincial intelligent agriculture demonstration zone by Jiangsu Provincial Committee of Agriculture.

Jintan (Shangruan) Modern Agricultural Industrial Park is located in the south of Maoshan Tourist Resort in Jintan District with a total area of 41,500 mu (about 2766.67 hectares) and four administrative villages under its jurisdiction. The core area of 10,500 mu (about 700 hectares) is located in Shangruan Village, Xuebu Town. The park contains 19,000 mu (about 1266.67 hectares) of high-efficiency agricultural facilities, 9,000 mu (about 600 hectares) of seasonal fruits, 1,600 mu (about 1066.67 hectares) for greenhouse vegetable production and 12 recreational and sightseeing agricultural areas.

Since the establishment of the park, it has launched 45 agricultural projects, with a total registered capital of 300 million yuan and an annual output value of 650 million yuan. Through the development mode of "enterprises + cooperatives + farmers" and "Internet +", the park has driven the innovation of agriculture and promoted the development of villages.

Next, Xuebu Town will rely on the industrial advantages of the park to speed up the development of agricultural e-commerce and intelligent agriculture.
