On July 25, Changzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition opened in Hong Kong. This exhibition acts as part of the Jiangsu Cultural Carnival to celebrate the 21st anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland.

More than 50 outstanding pieces of random-stitch embroideries, royal combs and green-retaining bamboo carvings, the “three treasures of Changzhou”, were displayed at the exhibition, fully demonstrating the beauty of Changzhou's intangible cultural heritage.

Sun Yanyun, Wu Cheng, Bai Jianren, and Xing Liang, the four representative inheritors of Changzhou's intangible cultural heritage, interacted with Hong Kong citizens at the exhibition. They have also made bold innovations on some of the exhibits, such as integrating the elements of old house bricks of Qingguo Lane into royal combs, combining random-stitch embroidery with costumes, and showing the theme of Hong Kong’s return by green-retaining bamboo carving.
