Recently, Niutang Central Primary School and Minghuang Middle School in Wujin District, Changzhou have been selected into the National Hockey Player Reserve Bases.

Going forward, the Chinese Hockey Association will assign high-level hockey professionals as the directors of hockey training and development of the two schools. Every year, these schools will hire top-class hockey coaches for teenagers recommended by the International Hockey Federation to carry out short-term training for the local coaches or athletes. Besides, the Chinese Hockey Association and the bases’ research teams will open regular training programs for local coaches based on unified standards and requirements, including professional ethics, professionalism, coaching ability, etc.
