On February 12, Wujin’s 35 key projects for the year of 2017 started construction.  

Among these projects, AAC Technologies’program of mobile phone 3D glass and other micro-precision components, with a total investment of 12.8 billion yuan, is so far the largest foreign-invested manufacturing project in Wujin. It has a planned area of 460 mu (about 30.67 hectares). The annual capacity is expected to reach 100 million 3D surface glasses and 12 million metal RF modules and other micro-precision components. The products are widely used in high-end smart phones, tablet PCs, wearable equipment, etc. The annual sales income is expected to reach 15 billion yuan.

"The project will integrate the R & D resources of AAC Technologies, in order to build a domestic R & D and industrial base with the best research environment, the top-class equipment, the world-class innovation talents and the fastest technology transfer," said Pan Zhengmin, CEO of AAC Technologies.
