Recently, the China Bang Shu Fair to Commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Long March was held in Chunjiang Town, Xinbei District, Changzhou. It was the first time that Changzhou held a national Bang Shu exhibition. 100 pieces of magnificent Bang Shu works were displayed in the exhibition. City leaders Hang Tianlong and Ju Liqin attended the opening ceremony.

Bang Shu, also known as Shu Shu, originally refers to the characters written across the arch of a palace or temple gate. Today, large-size calligraphy works are referred to as Bang Shu.

This event was co-organized by Shanghai Bang Shu Research Institute, Changzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Changzhou Calligraphy Association. During the five-day exhibition, 100 outstanding works selected out of nearly 2,000 pieces of works were displayed, including oracle bone inscriptions, clerical script, regular script, semi-cursive script, cursive script, and other styles of Chinese calligraphy.
