Changzhou hosts Int’l Forum on Sci-Tech and Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation

On the afternoon of Sept. 28th, the opening ceremony of the 2017 Changzhou International Forum on Sci-Tech and Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation was held in the Administration Center.

The forum is organized by the Changzhou Municipal Committee of CPC and Changzhou Municipal People’s Government. Responding to the initiative of “the year for upgrading big and important projects” and focusing on pushing forward the development of the 2.0 edition of “10 major industrial chains” and modern service industry, the city is to conduct an all-round investment-promotion covering all factors. Changzhou is striving to promote its image and influence in the world.

There will be a variety of outstanding activities at this forum. Planned are 70 special simultaneous activities in 3 categories which include ceremonies for contract-signing, project commencing or completion and different seminars and summits. 19 special promotion activities include Across the Straits (Jiangsu-Taiwan) Seminar on the Development of Health Industry, Changzhou International Technical Conference on Robotics and Intelligent Manufacturing, etc. 22 seminars or summits include 2017 China (Changzhou) Annual Meeting for E-commerce Applications, 2017 World Summit on Flooring Industry, China Summit on Drones and so on.

Since 2005, Changzhou has organized 13 sessions of the International Forum on Sci-Tech and Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation. Each session has its innovative and upgraded features, seeing good exchanges and cooperation. The forum has become a business-card of Changzhou to demonstrate its charm and attractiveness, and an important platform for the city to go global.
