As the traditional festival of Chinese people - the Spring Festival is approaching, on the evening of January 18th, Changzhou Municipal Foreign Affairs Office hosted the 2017 Chinese New Year Reception for foreign expats in Changzhou.  

Over 150 guests from 23 countries and regions, including Europe, the United States, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, gathered on this joyful occasion. Mr. Fang Guoqiang, Deputy Mayor of Changzhou Municipal People’s Government, Mr. Huang Jiande, Deputy Secretary-General of the Municipal Government, and heads of relevant departments of Changzhou also attended the reception.

Mr. Fang Guoqiang delivered a speech which recalled the new achievements made in Changzhou's economic and social development, and further expressed Changzhou's sincere desire to continue opening up as well as the festive greetings to the foreigners and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan compatriots working and living in Changzhou.
