The leading German energy saving corporation, SmartHeat, signed an investment agreement to set up a plant in Changzhou in the 2016 roadshow of Wujin Green Building Industry Cluster Demonstration Zone, which was held in Shanghai recently.

The first phase of the planned plant has a registered capital of 30 million RMB with a total investment of 100 million RMB. It will provide integrated housing solutions -- design and implementation of HVAC (Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning) systems, and research and development of smart housing, green building materials and environmental art products.

The Wujin Green Building Industry Cluster Demonstration Zone is the first featured green building industry zone approved by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. As an experimental and pioneering project, the Wujin Green Building Industry Cluster Demonstration Zone is striving to take the lead in and create a combined effect of the green industry. As of now, the demonstration zone has attracted over 100 green building companies and research institutions like Northern Building Solutions and Besser. Besides, the demonstration zone also boasts a number of Chinese leading green demonstration projects such as Jiangsu Green Architecture Expo and Jiangsu Green Building Exhibition Center.
