SPAL Group’s electric fan and blower project settled in Wujin High-Tech Zone

On the morning of May 22, SPAL Group’s project with a total investment of 52.8 million US dollars was officially signed and settled in Wujin National High-Tech Industrial Zone (WIZ), Changzhou. Li Lin, deputy mayor of Changzhou and secretary of the CPC Wujin District Committee, met with the vice president and chief strategy officer of SPAL, Italy.

Founded in 1959 and headquartered in Correggio, Italy, SPAL Group is an international leader in the design, production and marketing of axial fans and centrifugal blowers for the Automotive market. After nearly 70 years of development, the Group has established subsidiaries in six countries and regions across the world. It has a production capacity of more than 3 million sets of high-performance electric fans and blowers per year, with the annual production value of 500 million Euros. In June 2001, the Group established the first SPAL branch office in Shanghai China for the distribution of fans and blowers. 

In view of the growing international business, SPAL decided to set up its third global production base in China to bring better products and services to customers in China and Asia. This project, planned with a total investment of 52.8 million US dollars, has a registered capital of 17.6 million US dollars and an area of about 58 mu (3.87 hectares), mainly producing high-quality axial fans and centrifugal blowers for use in HVAC vehicle systems and oil/engine cooling systems. The plant is expected to be put into operation at the end of 2020, after which the output value will reach 600 million yuan per year.
