From October 15 to 24, the delegation of the Mexican Manufacturing Association visited Changzhou. On the morning of October 17, Changzhou held the Changzhou, China -- Mexico Enterprise Matchmaking Seminar. Mexican entrepreneur representatives had face-to-face discussions with representatives of 35 key enterprises in Changzhou to extensively explore cooperation opportunities.

In recent years, Changzhou and Mexico have maintained friendly exchanges since Changzhou and Tapachula, Chiapas were twinned in 2013. From January to August this year, the city's total trade volume with Mexico was 460 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 50.2%. The main import and export commodities include mechanical and electrical products, metal products and chemical products.

During the visit, the delegation mainly participated in the “Chinese Culture and Trade” training course jointly organized by Changzhou University and the University of Veracruz. The delegation also had a seminar with the Changzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce and paid a field visit to Black Peony (Group) Co., Ltd.
