On the evening of Feb 1, Changzhou Municipal People’s Government hosted the Chinese New Year Reception at Jiangnan Global Harbor for foreign friends, compatriots from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, and overseas returnees, who are working, studying and living in Changzhou.

Mr. Fang Guoqiang, vice mayor of Changzhou Municipal People’s Government, attended the event and delivered his New Year’s address.

Mr. Huang Jiande, deputy secretary general of the Municipal People’s Government, Mr. Du Jibin, director of the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, and representatives from the Municipal Taiwan Affairs Office, Education Bureau, Public Security Bureau, Commerce Bureau, Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, Industry and Commerce Administration, Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, Customs, Maritime Safety Administration, Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection, and Administration of Foreign Exchange were also present at the reception.
