On the afternoon of October 21st, Changzhou University for the Elderly celebrated its 30th anniversary. City leaders Xu Ying, Jia Baozhong, Zhang Yaogang and Ju Liqin attended the event.

The performers are students of the university, aged from 57 to 78 years old, some of whom have studied here for ten years.

At present, Changzhou University for The Elderly has seven Departments of Calligraphy and Painting, Literature and History, Musial Instruments, Vocal Music and Opera, Dance and Fitness, Home Economics, and Computer Science. Nearly 12,000 students are currently enrolled in the university. Over the past three decades, about 60,000 students have graduated from the university.
