On December 4, Shanghai Weishi Machinery's high-end washing equipment manufacturing project with a total investment of 1 billion yuan was officially signed into the Wujin National High-Tech Industrial Zone (WIZ). Mayor Ding Chun met with Lyu Liyi, chairman of Shanghai Weishi Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and witnessed the signing of the project.

Ding Chun expressed his congratulations on the settlement of the Weishi Machinery Manufacturing Project. He said that Changzhou is a historical and cultural city as well as a dynamic and advanced manufacturing base. Over the years, Changzhou has always adhered to the principle of developing the city through industrial development, intelligent manufacturing and quality assurance, and has striven to promote the high-quality development of the real economy and continuously create the best business environment. As the invisible champion of its sector, Shanghai Weishi Machinery will definitely inject new impetus into our regional development. The local governments at all levels will provide services to support the development of enterprises and promote the progress of high-quality industrial star city of Changzhou.

Lyu Liyi said that Changzhou has an outstanding private economy, superior industrial support and efficient government services. The Xueyan Plant invested by Shanghai Weishi Machinery in 2005 has become the world's largest production base for ironing equipment. He believes that the enterprise will be able to achieve higher quality development in Wujin, Changzhou.

Shanghai Weishi Machinery mainly develops and produces medium and high-end garment and washing equipment, providing 4 series of more than 200 kinds of products for ironing, automatic sewing, washing and logistics warehousing. Among them, the suit ironing equipment has a domestic market share of over 70%. Its new project in WIZ mainly develops and produces complete sets of washing equipment and core components.
